Wow, Laurie. What an amazing story. I don’t think I could do what you did, but I did get rid of or donate a lot of “stuff” when I moved from my childhood home of 62 years to my one bedroom condo in Daly City 5 1/2 years ago. I love living here, and wouldn’t move back to SF for anything! The City is just not the same place that I grew up in. It’s dirty and crowded and the politics stinks! I still have my Giants tickets, and all my doctors are in SF, so I am in the City at least a couple of days a week, and that’s enough for me. I love the community where I live and I can see myself living here for a long, long time.
