I live over the Sierra’s in western Nevada and often would camp at Delta Bay in October. It is a great month to be in the Delta. I have always liked the fact that the Delta is about twenty years behind the rest of California, laid back, and a fun place. It is fun to fall asleep in your campground listening to the coyotes in the surrounding fields to the west. – Jim Mallery
The park look so well..all the lawns where cut..clean restrooms…pool looked great..a lot of work has been done seems out last visit.we all had a great time..all the old boats and stored trailers and etc. has been removed..it was a great weekend..and the new people were so nice..things have really got better..there was a movie sat. nite..well done..thanks again – Ruth McIntyre
Our camp site was clean and very shady. The picnic table was old but we brought our own. The staff was very nice I actually had a nice conversation with one gentleman about my trailer and gave me a few ideas. The store was nice seemed to have one of each of the basics. Our trip was nice and we would definitely go there again.
We stayed 3 nights over Father’s Day weekend and had a blast! We had another couple that joined us and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. We had our 10 yr. old granddaughter with us and she loves the pool, she also enjoyed all of the fun things planned for the kids, bounce house, movie night, fishing derby (her first time fishing and she caught a small one.) The staff is always friendly and helpful!
Everything was really great. Camp host was very helpful and cheerful when we checked in. Our camping spot was what we had requested. Spaces were so nice with all the trees.Would stay here again and recommend to others.
We really enjoyed the peace and quite we found here. We during the week so it was uncrowded. Betsy, the host was very friendly and accommodating. The site was shady and level. I loved having the fishing dock across the levee road from the campground. Free wi-fi too! We will definitely return here!
My husband Michael and I had a relaxing, enjoyable weekend. He even caught a Delta Striper off your private fishing dock! Right after the kids’ fishing derby left, ha ha. But seriously, it was quiet, clean, orderly, lots of shade, big RV spaces, and I got a free Mother’s Day breakfast and no dishes to do! All in all a Great weekend! We will be back.
We loved the accommodations in the cabin. Not having to bring kitchen cups, glasses, plates, etc. made it so easy. It’s close to the water for fishing, boating, and kayaking. We only wish we had more than the one day here, but we will be back! Thanks to Kim for telling us about this place.
Awesome!!! Just needed a place to stop and sleep for one night. we ended up staying longer and next time will plan our entire vacation here!! After a 3 week RV fishing trip up to Oregon, my Husband & Son said their favorite spot was the Sacramento Delta! Customer service was above & beyond- just can’t say enough about it!!
Campground was very clean, shady and pleasant. The pool was very nice and the dog park area was super convenient for our 3 dogs. It had poop bags, scoopers and cans to put all in. The only thing that would have been nice was a bowl of water for the dogs. The area had 2 nice benches for people and it, too, was shady and comfortable for man and beast!!
