Delta Bay Foundation is a California nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. Its mission is to provide community services that benefit the California Delta & San Francisco Bay Area community. The foundation’s programs are centered on public education for social issues such as community building, affordable housing, tiny houses, and waterway and wetland conservation. The foundation works with local nonprofits, associations, and government agencies to achieve its mission.

In the last three years, the Foundation established a Sunday Market hosted on the grounds of Park Delta Bay. At the Sunday Market, Delta-area artists, artisans, and crafters could display and sell their wares. Started in the middle of the first pandemic lockdown in 2020, the Sunday Market offered a unique outdoor opportunity when none otherwise existed. Since the first season, the Sunday Market has grown to fifteen regular vendors with an additional half-dozen who participate on a part-time basis.

In 2023, the Foundation will be using a recently-awarded grant to host events at the Brannan Island State Recreational Facility. Plans also are underway for the 2023 Sunday Market season as well as other events to promote the Foundation’s mission. Watch this page for updates.
