The Sunday Market at Park Delta Bay, sponsored by the Delta Bay Foundation, comes to the close of its first regular season this Sunday, August 30th. The day will feature a nearly full complement of vendors who have participated. The weather should be lovely and the air quality on the Loop has gotten more clear every day.
Regular customers of the Sunday Market have had fun participating in our raffle for #MarketMoney. This week, the raffle will have a decidedly different flare. First and second prize will be a whole pie and a whole cake from Robin Pack’s Tiny Bakeshop. Third Prize will be a tray of brownies also from the Tiny Bakeshop. To be entered in the raffle, you must make a purchase from one of the vendors that day, including the Grill Station, the Silo Farm Organics, the ice cream ladies, or any of the vendors on Market Row. All purchases made during the first hour entitle you to a chance at the tray of brownies. All purchases in the second hour give a chance at the whole pie or whole cake, winner’s choice. All purchases made in the third hour go into the drawing for the remaining whole pie or cake. You must be present to win!
Although this is the last regular market, Market Vendors will return on October 11th for the Sunday Market’s Harvest Market. We plan special activities for kids and families centered around the Harvest season, including pumpkins from the Delta Bay Community Garden and from Silo Farm Organics. Check out the Sunday Market’s Harvest Market on Facebook for announcement about scheduled participants. All of the regular season vendors have committed to the event, and more are anticipated so it should be a grand time!
At this week’s Market, browse these fabulous vendors to find gifts for yourself or others, delicious baked goods and organic produce, and food and refreshments to enjoy under the Pop-Up Rest-Stop while you enjoy Josh Jakubowski‘s amazing musical talent. See you at the Sunday Market!

Helix Mosley-Darriuesset debuted at the Market last week with his hand-crafted, custom-designed chain mail bracelets and necklaces. He returns this week ready to take your order! His lovely work has an enduring finish. Choose your favorite combination and place your order at the start of your market visit, and Helix will work to finish the item before the next raffle drawing! He can also place orders for later pick-up or make delivery arrangements.
Of course, no visit to the Sunday Market would be complete without a stop at the Tiny Bakeshop, to visit Robin Pack and select one of her amazing treats! Robin has been baking since childhood and her hobby brings her much delight — and her customers agree! Select for yourself or to gift a friend. Robin also takes orders for future deliveries, so plan your next gathering with the Tiny Bakeshop in mind! Watch the Facebook page for news of this week’s menu!
Everyone knows that Pattie Whitaker and Louis Mosley-Darrieusset tag-team at the grill station, but have you mosied on over to Market Row and browsed Miss Pattie’s lovely little bracelets? They are sure to delight and for the low price that Miss Pattie asks, you can buy several to match your mood or share with your sister!
Towards the end of Market Row, you’ll find Tracy’s Stained glass; Trinity Edens with her beau Bernie selling crocheted items and vintage pieces; Melissa Fink with her hand-made jewelry and driftwood signs, painted rocks, and other decor; Melissa Stolte’s Lavender Lovelies, home-made soaps and other products with local lavender; and Aubrey Campbell with knives, vintage trade beats, knife-sharpening services, and sundry merchandise from his Antiques and Old Things store. Connie Greenwoven will display her hand-sewn marine goods and unique copper jewelry along with jewelry supplies. Michael Allen staffs a booth for his sister, artist Angela Sims, offering original paintings.
Throughout the day, the Grill Station offers burgers and hotdogs, while the Ice Cream ladies have cold drinks and sweets. Josh Jakubowski sets up around noon. The Sunday Market hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We are located at 922 West Brannan Island Road, on the California Delta Loop.
See you at the Sunday Market!
