The Delta Bay Foundation presents a fabulous, family-friendly BOAT AND WATER SAFETY FAIR!
Saturday, March 21st, 2026 – from 10am to 2pm at the beautiful Brannan Island State Recreation Area, thanks to a TOT Grant from Sacramento County, awarded with the support of County Supervisor Pat Hume.
On hand at the Boating and Water Safety Fair will be teams from the U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 53 who will present boating and water safety information and demonstrations geared to all ages.
Also joining the presenter team is the Sacramento County Marine Enforcement detail, which will have a fully equipped watercraft on a trailer for display along with a display of equipment such as dive gear and an underwater robot.
At the same time, a Parks staff member will host a fishing event for children!
All in the beautiful setting of the crown jewel of the California parks system, Brannan Island State Recreation Area, on Highway 160 just outside of Rio Vista! Free and open to all! Watch this page and the Facebook event for evolving details! Park day fees will be waived for attendees of this event! Camping, ramp, and day use rates available for those who want to expand their BISRA experience!
