Summer has slipped into a berth at the Delta Bay Marina and decided to stay. She still needs a sweater after sunset, but she’s got new flip-flops and a clean hull. She’s unfurled her sails and unfolded the deck chairs. We’re glad to see her.
With 122 berths, Delta Bay Marina provides plenty of room for boaters who need a destination year round or just in season. Slips range from 36′ to 55′, with the monthly cost set at $8/foot. The overnight docking fee is just $25.00 per night. The Marina provides a general store with alcohol, sundries and bait; restrooms, and a pump-out. The spacious deck and “Berther’s BBQ” offer somewhere to stroll and enjoy the evening air.
If you’re headed this way, keep in mind that the Marina will hold its first “Second Saturday Wine Tasting” on May 11th. Fare from local vineyards will be available at a modest cost for those over-twenty-one, paired with tasty treats. Sit at one of the patio tables and enjoy the ease of #DeltaLife. On the same day, across the road, Park Delta Bay RV and Tiny House Resort will host a summer swap meet. You never know what treasures you’ll find!
The boating life suits many, and the boater’s season draws near. We’re just downriver from the Bay and the endless blue of the Pacific. Set sail for the Delta! We’ll see you soon!
